I’m originally from a suburb outside of DC, but I’ve spent a lot of time in Jacksonville over the years visiting family. I made the move here full time when I was 25, and it quickly started to feel like home.

I actually found yoga kind of by accident. A friend invited me to a hot yoga class on a $2 Tuesday, and I was like… yeah I’ll try anything for $2.

It was 75 minutes and honestly so hard, but I loved the challenge. I started going back every week, mostly because it was $2, but also because I could feel how much it was balancing out all the running and lifting I was doing.

Then one week I missed it, and I could feel the difference. My body felt tighter, my mind a little more anxious. That’s when it clicked how much yoga was really supporting me.

Over time, I fell in love with it for more than just the physical side. It became something that helped me slow down, clear my head, and just feel better overall.

After a few years of practicing, I took a leap during a time I really needed it and completed my 200-hour teacher training in Isla Mujeres, Mexico with Kootenay Yoga School.

Now I’m a Yoga Alliance Registered 200-hour teacher based in Atlantic Beach, Florida. I work with people in private sessions, small groups, and both in-person and virtual settings.

My classes are intentional, sometimes challenging, and always focused on helping you feel more connected to your body. Whether you’re brand new to yoga, getting back into it, or using it to support your current routine like running or lifting, everything is designed to meet you where you are.
